I've given up on reality. The people and places in my head are soooo much cooler.

So, I just fed my snakes, all of which are for sale if anyone in the DFW area cares, and Ancho missed the mouse and bit his own tail. He then began a frenzied chase to ensnarl the offending "appendage" in his coils. This resulted in him spinning round and round in his feeding box until he actually saw the mouse again. Saddly, not being my smartest pet, he lunged at the mouse, yet loath to relinquish the prize already clamped between his serrated needle like teeth, and failed again to capture the true reward. I had to pick myself up off the floor from laughing so hard and grab his rather delicate head like that of a poisonous viper to pry open his mouth and extricate his wriggling, slightly bloodied tail and probably a couple teeth that may have ben lodged in the scales.
